Multireflexology - Dien Chan is often called facial reflexology, Dien Chan, Cibertherapy....
There is no difference, meaning that it is about stimulating areas on the face that are related to multiple diagrams of projection that were discovered by Pr. Dr. Bùi Quôc Châu.
The EiMDC courses teach the original Multireflexology - Dien Chan; from its beginning and with the very inventor of the method's help, who is still working in Vietnam.
There are many other techniques that come from Facial Reflexology. They are simplified versions of the technique which focus on the stimulation of some points from the Dien Chan maps. They do not follow the progressive study of the diagrams of projection that allow infinite combinations. They mainly focus on formulas of points that initially may seem more attractive but omit the multireflexologic dimension of the technique.
Dien Chan is more than a reflexology technique and other methods can be applied following its principles.
In relation to psychological problems, Facial Reflexology is still a very young technique in order to suggest proven treatments after a long experience. Until a few years ago, Vietnam was a war-torn country and psychological issues were not a priority to famine and misery of postwar period.
Nevertheless, we can see that western therapists apply Facial Reflexology to treat psychological problems with very good results.
They mainly use the multireflexology technique to reassure the patient with the help of a simple massage (comb the scalp, stimulate points 124 and 34) and also, when they need to strengthen mind and spirit of the person, point 103 is stimulated.
It is necessary to adapt the teatment to any particular case, Facial reflexology does not propose a magic formula, but can be a good complement.
There is a brain diagram of projection on the face that is widely used to stimulate points of the cranial nerves, but as mentioned, it is relatively new and we have to use it very cautiously. The Facial reflexology is barely 30 years old!
There are 257 ·
At the end of the book, some essential ·
At EiMDC we do not use a simplified version of Multireflexology - Dien Chan and we know the signs and effects of all the ·
In some formulas the order may be important and that is why, in the latest version of the book we have reorganized and ordered the .bqc points and give them a yin or yan sense.
Obviously this order is entirely relative, because we have a yin version of the pathology or a yang version of the same pathology with another patient.
The formulas of the book are merely proposals to inspire and help us to understand why each point.
Nothing replaces a traditional classroom course with real cases to better understand how Facioterapist has to adapt to the patient.
We could compare the formulas of the ·
This is what DienChan'clinic students learn to understand and end up being able to create their own master formulas and customize them for each patient's pathology.
They can be applied to children, but with very short sessions and almost better to work the areas of reflection with your fingers.
Facial reflexology has its limitations and is not intended and can not cover everything.
However, we get very good results in the treatment to cure the side effects or collateral imbalances caused by drug treatments for serious diseases.
Multireflexology helps to rebalance the body and causes our self-regulatory process.
The effects of multireflex tools on body and face are very beneficial because they always reactivate blood and lymphatic microcirculation naturally and gradually.
The more knowledge we have, the better results we will obtain with Dien Chan, as we will have more resources and possibilities to plan a treatment. But like all things, there is a need to monitor that an excess of information does not hide the obvious and does not allow us find the best treatment to follow.
We have to deal with the simplicity of nature. Traditional Chinese Medicine is a great ally of Multirefology, as well as our knowledge of Western medicine.
If it is true, that being Prof. Châu acupuncturist, and being more simple to interpret MTC protocols, one can relate or believe that Dien Chan is part of MTC. Be careful with this idea, the Dien Chan is just a technique, and it is up to us to interpret and apply it according to our medical theories.
The name of a particular disease may in some cases take us away from multireflexologic reality. Do not forget that «where it hurts» is often much more accurate in Dien Chan than any name you can get from the western medicine vocabulary. Our tendency to choose very specific words to isolate the problem can make us forget that this is a whole. We are not surgeons.
The excess of accuracy can move us away from the most balancing treatment. We are in a process of self-regulation and vocabulary may limit us.
Multireflexology - Dien Chan defines a multi-reflexology network consisting of a number of diagrams that are mainly found on the face.
We work with simple stimulation, without needles, and with the help of accurate tools.
Thanks to the effects of yin or yang multireflex tools, results are surprising because it is fast both in the healing process and pain relief.
We can treat many common disorders with Multireflexology - Dien Chan. We will never claim to be regarded as a panacea; as any other medical techniques, Multireflexology has its limits.
It provides a very effective aid in cases of common disorders and allows us to avoid taking too much medication which always involves side effects.
This is not to deny the effectiveness of any other technique or medicine but providing a complement without contraindications.
Multireflexology - Dien Chan enables us to relearn how to listen to our bodies, to understand why we have so many ailments.
The study of multireflexology diagrams invites us to build «bridges» between the different parts of the body and thus better understand the origin of our problem.
The small multireflexology massage have quick impact because they are conducted on the face, which is very close to the brain that controls everything.
We cannot talk about side effects or contraindications because stimulations try to rebalance the affected areas.
We are not adding anything or damaging the body; we are only telling the brain to guide the energy flow to the desired area. We are activating our self-healing processes.
For these reasons we can not pretend we can replace hospital operations or doctor's medical diagnosis.
It is about rebalancing areas and organs thanks to multireflexologic stimulations.
Although Pr. Dr. Bui Quôc Châu is an acupuncturist, Multireflexology - Dien Chan only nourishes from both the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and modern Western medicine.
If you let us do a musical metaphor, we can compare the Dien Chan to a musical instrument. No one can say that a piano is an instrument designed to play only classical symphonies, or just jazz, or just poprock..
Anyone is free to play the style that they like more. But to be able to give the best possible use of the chosen instrument, it is recommended that you learn to read notes and study music theory.
In the same way, Multireflexology - Dien Chan is a technique with which we can «play» using our previous knowledge of anatomy, Chinese medicine or any other science.
If the fixed points of the face are notes, diagrams, scores and tools, instruments, it's up to us to use our talent to be a good interpreter and/or composer.
We can also apply the principles of Multireflexology - Dien Chan to all the other techniques and medicine. The multireflexology method extends the field of possibilities of treatments and invites us to combine our expertise with one goal: not getting stuck with a problem.
Pr. Dr. Bùi Quôc Châu, inventor of the method, discovered that each point of reflection of the face is a partner with the corresponding organ through the brain.
The genius of the discovery lies in having been able to join the fixed points discovered by Pr. Bùi Quôc Châu, in simple diagrams that we have to learn to project on any face.
Unlike other reflexology techniques, Multireflexology - Dien Chan offers very effective combinations between the different diagrams of projection, the fixed points and stimulations with multireflex tools.

The International School of Multirreflexology - Dien Chan teaches courses in many countries since 2002.
We organise courses in Martinique, Tahiti, La Reunion, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Canada, Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, France ...
We do not share the idea that online courses are the equivalent of a classroom course.
Multireflexology is a technique that has its own movements and a particular approach on each situation.
Nothing can replace a course with a trainer who has experience and knows how to transmit it.
However, in order to help and invite everyone to start with the Dien Chan, we publish a large number of teaching materials.
• You can acquire theoretical knowledge in the EiMDC course book. It contains all the diagrams of projection, the complete · bqc map points and the complete theoretical course of 4 modules.
• Faceasit'clinic is an ideal interactive application for building treatment protocols, formulas of · bqc points, and to understand the use of multireflex tools. This application is a real therapeutic calculator capable of building a Multireflexology - Dien Chan treatment from anatomy and symptoms.
It also allows to study the patterns of thought, · bqc points and multiple relationships between them.

Our courses are not certified by any official agency because the multireflexologic method of Pr. Dr Bui Nam Quôc Châu is too young to be recognized.
The EiMDC is the entity with more experience in the western world, that collaborates with the center Vietydao of Pr. Dr. Bui Nam Quôc Châu in Vietnam.
The EiMDC certificate is a guarantee that your therapist has been trained professionally with an accredited and experienced trainer.
Pr. Dr. Bui Quôc Châu teaches classes to his Vietnamese students at his clinic and the EiMDC is not responsible for the length of the courses in Viêtnam not dedicated to Westerners. Pr. Dr. Bui Quôc Châu gives tailored classes to his students, mostly former patients. Classes are in Vietnamese and it is extremely difficult to find a translator who knows the technique in advance to be able to follow the classes in a fluent way.
On the other hand, western students -although they may speak Vietnamese- often find that the level of knowledge and ability to study of local students is rather basic; they are not always students or academics, but curious patients who are willing to learn and take a close look at their knowledge in Dien Chan.
For this reason, the EiMDC takes no responsibility for those trainings performed outside its teaching framework.
Pr. Dr. Bui Quôc Châu knows his students and their different cultures very well, no matter they are European or Vietnamese. All the programs that we have developed in Europe since 2002 are completely adapted to western students, taking into account their level of training and schooling.
As a general rule the requirements of European students are much higher and the programme is more concise to be able to respond to the western student profile.
Many.
Pr. Châu has trained thousands of therapists in Vietnam and Europe. Many of the certified students at the International School of Multirreflexology - Dien Chan are professionals with their own examination rooms.
You can see the list of our former students on the Dien Chan International club's page www.DienChan.club.
Normally we recommend to have some tools, more than a single detector. A beginner often has a preferred tool that seems to be infallible, until a patient that it is not receptive appears.
In the beginning, Pr. Dr. Bùi Quôc Châu wanted to use few tools, but the more people he treated the more different situations he faced. He began using Chinese medicine material, but the results were not fast enough. For this reason, he continued to investigate and discovered that if it was based on the principles of yin and yang, he could offer more variety in his treatments.
For this reason, he began to design yang tools for yin pathologies and vice versa.
Later, he understood the importance of adapting the size of the tools to the areas treated, that is why we have multireflex tools similar but of different size, some for the face and others for the body.
The complete catalog is in www.DienShop.com.
You can start practicing with the small hammer #128 and the yin - yang roller #206 that allow you to both stimulate fixed points of the face and areas of reflection of the different diagrams. With the help of the book and the interactive application Faceasit'clinic you will have access to dozens of very effective formulas of treatment.
The complete catalog of multireflex tools is on www.DienShop.com. We send packages throughout the world without problems since 2002.
The interactive application Faceasit is available in the Appstore and Apple, and on iTunes on your iPad. You can see the full manual and understand this new concept both therapeutic and pedagogical by referring to the complete manual in Spanish on www.Faceasit.com.
Currently there is only one complete book on the method written by Patryck Aguilar in Spanish, French, English, Portuguese and Italian. There are other small previous publications by Pr. Dr. Bui Quôc Châu, but these are only found in Vietnamese.
Another book, called Dien'Chan, was written by Nhuan le Quang with the collaboration of Marie-France Muller. It is a book recommended for students who have completed the module DienChan'pro, because it contains a whole catalog of treatments with formulas. It focuses on a few essential points with which it proposes several formulas of points for many disorders.
We have tried not to duplicate the treatments in our publication so those students who have both can have a more comprehensive list of treatments. But since 2013, with the interactive application Faceasit we can design a huge number of formulas and complete protocols from the affected anatomy supplemented by the symptoms. The book, Multireflexology - Dien Chan is recommended to study the theory and to be consulted.
Refer to the section of publications in www.books.multireflex.com.
We do not need prior knowledge to be able to treat in Multireflexology - Dien Chan. We can simply start by following the tips outlined in the application or the Faceasit Multireflexology book.
The multireflex tools boost the process of microcirculation of the treated area and stimulate -in the brain- the reflection of the organ or member that you want to treat.
The diagrams of Multireflexology - Dien Chan help us to guide our stimulations to obtain quick results.
To learn how to use the multireflex tools, the Faceasit'pro application offers a multitude of treatment protocols. Its full manual in Spanish is on es.Faceasit.com.
The multi-reflex tools are divided into two categories.
• The tools with yin effects are pronged stainless steel and brass cylinders. We believe yin tools have refreshing, dispersing and moisturising effects. We often use a yin tool when we want to relax and remove a tension which comes from a muscular problem or stress.
• The tools with yang effects are balls or pronged rollers. We believe yang tools have stimulating effects, that concentrate and heat the treated area. We often use yang tools when we want to energize, reduce and dry.
The goal is to find the balance between yin and yang, considering that the disorder is born from the energy imbalance of the body, member or area affected. Obviously, the medical diagnosis will help us to better understand the source of the problem.
To view the different models of multireflex tools, visit the catalog on www.DienShop.com.
Facial reflexology is not a relative of acupuncture. It is a multi reflexologic method and this means that we can find points that are reflections of the meridians studied in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Some ·
With Multireflexology, however, we can search by reflection the routes of the meridians.
The simple treatments are very effective in relieving pain but, when it comes to deeper disorders, it is important to be able to identify the cause and attend several sessions of treatment.
More sessions are also needed to treat any pain caused by old reasons and chronic diseases.
The Multireflexology relieves pain quickly with little knowledge and gets to cure the cause.
But it is important to continue studying to avoid stagnation. The more knowledge the therapist has, the better diagnosis and treatment.
If it is about mechanical or energy injuries it is much more difficult to remove pain forever.
When the treatment works it is normal that a stronger pain may re-emerge in the first sessions. Thi is a sign that we are releasing the Qi and other aches tend to wake up.
We will have to follow the treatment and surely adapt it finding other roads on other diagrams. By combining diagrams, multireflex tools and principles of the theory of Dien Chan, we obtain a large number of possibilities that become increasingly effective.
Yes.
In Viêtnam, prof. Châu and his therapists tend to ask patients to return the next day. Treatments do not usually last more than 10 minutes per patient.
In the west if you have the possibility to have any patient that can return the next day you'll be able to perform shorter sessions.
If your session lasts more than 15 minutes it is good to combine Facial reflexology with another technique. We can also use this time to spend more time listening to the patient and improve diagnosis.
In these cases we usually relax the patient using the small yin rake #416 and treat the painful parts with tool #410. The patient will then be more receptive to the treatment that will act in depth.
